Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Control Panel" item to start the virtual machine.
Step 2
Expand the "Administration" link and select "Hyper-V Manager" to initiate the process of shrinking the virtual disk.
Step 3
Click the Defragment button on the action bar and confirm the command by clicking OK.
Step 4
Specify the "Options" item in the "Tools" menu of the main window of the virtual machine application and select the "DVD drive" item on the left side of the window.

Use the Open ISO Image command on the right side of the window and enter% systemdrive% in the text box.

Click the "Browse" button and specify the path to the file:

Use the New File command to create a new virtual disk, or use the Parent Disk option to make changes to an existing disk.
