Step 1
At the moment, you can successfully guess the password for a wireless Wi-Fi access point for which the WEP encryption type is set. Before installing programs to guess the password for the network, make sure that the wireless adapter you are using is compatible with it.

To do this, follow the link https://madwifi.org/wiki/Compatibility and find your wireless network card in the list

Download and unzip Airocrack 2.0. It will be required to collect important data when choosing a key. Open Device Manager. Navigate to your network card. Right-click on it and select "Update Drivers".
Step 4
Select the "Install from a list or specific location" option. Specify the path to the Driver folder located in the directory with the installed program.
Step 5
Now start the Airodump program. Find the "Interface Type" item and specify the model of your network adapter. Do not enter the MAC address of the network connection yet. In the “Channel number” column, put a value equal to zero.
Step 6
Most likely, you will have to leave your computer or laptop for a long enough period of time. Once launched, the program will start collecting packages and generating initialization vectors. Wait until the number of vectors exceeds 150 thousand.
Step 7
Run a second copy of Airodump. Enter the network address of the wireless adapter on which the access point was created in the MAC-filter field. Close the program. It will automatically create a number of files containing initialization vectors.
Step 8
Launch the Airocrack program. Drag the files created by the previous utility into the Airocrack window. You need to use no more than a dozen files in one go. Press the Enter key.
Step 9
If the required key was not found, repeat the procedure for copying files to the program window with other files. Their extension, by the way, should be.cap.
