When you need to send a file via the Internet, the question arises: how to do it? You can use e-mail, file hosting, ICQ client programs, but they all have a limit on the size of the sent documents. Skype provides the ability to send a file of any size to a person from your contact list.

Step 1
To send a file via Skype, start this program. Then open your contact list. Select the recipient to whom the document is intended, right-click on his contact. A pop-up menu will appear in which you need to select the "Send File" item.
Step 2
You can send the data to the Internet interlocutor in another way. If the dialogue with the contact is open, you will see several icons above the message input field. The first will be the add emoji icon, followed by the Share button. Click it. An additional menu will appear. Select "Send File" in it.
Step 3
After completing the actions from point 1 or 2, an explorer dialog box will open, in which you can find and select the file that you want to send. Using the folder tree on the left, select the directory where the document you need is located, select it. When the file you want is highlighted, click the "Open" button.
Step 4
There is another way to select the desired file and transfer it to the Skype subscriber. Open the explorer window, find the directory where the document is located. Grab it with the left mouse button and drag it into the program window on the name of the contact to whom you want to send the file.
Step 5
After you send the required document, in a dialogue with the addressee, he will go into standby mode, which will last until your interlocutor presses the "Accept" button. After he has done this, the file transfer will begin.
