If you accidentally deleted files that are important to you or formatted a hard disk partition, then the bulk of the data stored on this disk can be recovered. To do this, you need to use several utilities.

- - Easy Recovery;
- - Acronis Disk Director.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install Acronis Disk Director. Select the version of the utility that suits your operating system. Restart your computer or laptop to complete the application installation process. Start it up.
Step 2
Open the "View" tab located above the program toolbar. Specify the parameter "Manual Mode". Now examine the list of existing partitions on your removable hard drive. Right-click on the free space of the disk where the partition was located earlier. Select the "Advanced" menu and go to the "Recovery" item.
Step 3
In the window that opens, select the manual recovery mode and click the "Next" button. Choose a complete search method for deleted partitions. Click the Next button and wait while the program compiles a list of previously existing sections. Now highlight the recently deleted partition and click the Next button.
Step 4
Now return to the main menu of the program and open the "Operations" tab. Click the Run button located in the drop-down menu. In the new window, click the "Proceed" button to start the disk repair process. Wait for it to complete.
Step 5
Now download and install the Easy Recovery program. It will be required if some files are still missing after the partition was restored. Launch the program and go to the Data Recovery menu. In the window that opens, select the Deleted Recovery item. Specify the disk partition where you want to search for files.
Step 6
Now select the type of files you want to search for. This will greatly speed up the search process. Then click the Find button and wait for the file search to complete. Highlight the required files and click the Save button. Specify the folder to save the files.
