Nice interface is an absolute advantage for any browser. However, no matter how convenient the initial view is, the user may always want to change something in it (or do it accidentally). Then the second important aspect appears - the simplicity of customizing the appearance, which is sometimes very lame. So, in Opera, even the simplest operation of restoring the address bar is not obvious.

Instructions

Step 1

You may have accidentally shortened the address bar. Check if there is a small piece of this field left on the panel. If there is one, move the cursor over the right border of the fragment, hold down the left mouse button and "drag" the tail to the right. The address entry form will be restored to its original form.

Step 2

You may have moved the address bar to a different location on the monitor. Don't forget that Opera uses a Drag & Drop interface, so any element can be simply dragged to its original place.

Step 3

Press Shift + F12, this will open the Appearance menu. If for some reason the keyboard shortcut does not work, then you can find the tab by clicking on the Opera icon in the upper left corner.

Step 4

Check if the "Address Bar" as a whole is in place. It contains buttons "Refresh page", "Forward / Back" and "Auto login". In addition, on the right (by default) there is a search form. If at least some of the specified elements are in place, you can skip the next step.

Step 5

In the "Appearance" menu, go to the "Toolbars" tab. The second column will contain the “Address bar” element. Check the box next to it - the address bar along with all the buttons should be restored. If this did not happen, and the checkmark was already checked, then go to the "Buttons" tab of the same menu.

Step 6

In the left column, click on "Browser: View". Images of several elements will appear on the left side, in the first place there will be a reduced copy of the address bar.

Step 7

Drag the address bar to the place it is used to. A simple click will not be enough, you just need to drag the element. If for some reason this fails, restart your PC and try again. If this fails again, refresh your browser. This will not bring the panels back, but it is guaranteed to "fix" the settings menu.
