Any browser, regardless of whether you want it or not, remembers all site addresses that you enter in the address bar. During further work, it will give out the addresses of previously visited sites, if the new entered addresses are somewhat similar to the old ones. To prevent this from happening, you need to clear the address bar.
Instructions
Step 1
See which internet browser you have installed. This will determine the sequence of actions with which you can clear the address line. Four browsers are currently the most popular. This Internet Explorer is a standard program of the Windows operating system. It is best to use the latest version. It can be downloaded from the Internet. Or if your personal computer is running Windows 7, the Explorer version will already be updated. The remaining three are Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera. To remove addresses from the string, you will need to adjust your actions depending on the browser.
Step 2
Go to the "Tools" menu if you have Internet Explorer. Then go to "Internet Options" and go to the "Contents" tab. Click the Options button, which you will find in the AutoComplete section. After that, apply the function "Delete autocomplete history". To completely clear the addresses, check the box next to the "Log" item and click the "Delete" button.
Step 3
Go to the General Settings menu if you have Opera. Find the "Advanced" tab there and open it. Review the menu on the left. Find the item "History" in it. Then click the "Clear" button.
Step 4
Click once on the wrench icon if you have Google Chrome. It's in the upper right corner near the address bar. A menu will appear. Select "Options" in it. Go to its sub-item "Advanced". There, find the item "Delete data on previously viewed pages." Select the "Clear browsing history" checkbox and click "Delete."
Step 5
Click the Firefox button, and then select the "Preferences" command if your browser is Mozilla Firefox. Go to the "Privacy" tab. Then click on the active link "Clear recent history". Then select "Clear Now".
