A possible reason that the computer turns on slowly is the huge number of programs installed on it. In addition to Windows itself, when you turn on the machine, many applications start running. In order not to remove the necessary software and at the same time increase the performance of the PC, you must remove some of them from the "Startup" list.
Instructions
Step 1
The simplest method can be considered cleaning the folder of the same name. There are actually two Startup directories, one for your personal account and one for everyone. The first one can be found at: / Users // AppData / Roaming / Microsoft / Windows / Main Menu / Programs / Autostart on the system partition of the hard drive. The other is located in Program Data / Microsoft / Windows / Main Menu / Programs / Autostart. Remove shortcuts to programs in these folders so that they only run when you really need to.
Step 2
You can also configure software loading via msconfig, which is a built-in utility for Windows 7. You can access it through the Run item located in Start, or by pressing R + Win. In the line that appears, type the name of the utility, and then hold down Enter. A window will open in which you need to find the tab responsible for autoloading. There, uncheck the boxes for programs that should not be loaded with the system.
Step 3
The last method, which uses only system resources, is to update the registry. Press R + Win or the same "Run" item and type the command regedit. You need to clean the folders located in Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Run of the HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE branches. After removing the keys, the programs will stop slowing down the PC boot.
Step 4
To solve the problem, you can use special software, for example, Autoruns or Starter. Similar functions are found in complex utilities for operating system maintenance - CCleaner and BoostSpeed.
