During installation, some programs tend not to ask the user whether they need to start when the computer boots. And sometimes users themselves forget to uncheck this question. One way or another, you somehow need to remove some programs from startup.

This can be done in several ways. The very first one is to go into the program you are interested in and delve into its settings. Surely there will be an inscription like "Start at system startup". The disadvantage of this method is that there are a lot of settings in complex programs, so it will take a long time to search.

Another way is to look in the Startup folder, which is located in Start - Programs. True, modern programs do not use such a simple way and usually this folder is empty.

The third way is to run the msconfig program (Start - Run - msconfig). Here, in the "Startup" tab, you can see what exactly is loaded when you turn on your computer. Choose what you don't need, shoot jackdaws and get overwhelmed.

However, the most cunning programs (including viruses) are registered in the registry and sit there quietly so that no one finds them. To find them, run the registry editor (Start - Run - regedit). Be careful and try not to touch anything you are not sure about. this could damage the system. Autostart is located in several branches of the registry, so it is worth checking them all. Also, as in the previous branch, they are launched once and then deleted.
