Step 1
So, if you notice the first warning signs of the demise of the system battery, do not hesitate to replace it. We need tweezers and a Phillips screwdriver. First of all, turn off the power of the computer, disconnect the wires of the keyboard, mouse and peripheral devices. Remove the two side screws and disconnect the monitor cable from the graphics card connector. If this is your first time disassembling your computer, take a close look and remember where each of the wires was connected. After that, you can proceed to opening the system unit.
Step 2
Lay the system unit on its side. On the back panel, find the two screws holding the side panel and remove them with a screwdriver, after which the panel can be removed. Your gaze will open a picture of the insides of the computer. Examine the surface of the motherboard carefully for the location of the system battery. It is in the form of a tablet about a centimeter in diameter.
Step 3
Take the tweezers and gently pull it out of the seat, making sure it is in the correct position. Be careful not to bend the contact plates while doing this. You can buy such a battery at your nearest store that sells computer accessories. Since there are several types of batteries, grab the one you just removed as a sample.
Step 4
Carefully insert the purchased battery into the seat with tweezers, without reversing the polarity. After that, we put back the side panel, fix it with screws, put the system unit in place and connect all the necessary devices to it. If you suddenly forget where what is connected, it does not matter, almost all connections have different types of connectors, so in fact it is difficult to confuse anything. After that, we turn on the network and start the computer, make sure that the problems associated with the dead battery are gone.
