Most operating systems are designed to be able to perform the same operation in several ways, depending on the convenience of the user. Printing text and graphic files is no exception. At the same time, the execution of any command is associated with setting options so that, for example, not the entire document is printed, but only one page.

Instructions

Step 1

In any program and file of any type, the keyboard shortcut “CTRL-P” is used to display the print menu. When pressed, a menu is displayed indicating the brand and model of the printer and a number of other options: number of copies, printed pages, etc.

Step 2

The default Pages column usually has a circle next to the All option. If you need to print the page you are currently on, move the selection to the "Current" option. If you are interested in another page, enter its number in the "Numbers" field. To print multiple pages from an entire document, separate the page numbers of all the pages to be printed, separated by commas.

Step 3

Make sure the printer is connected to an electrical outlet and the computer. Check the rest of the print settings, such as the number of copies. When all the required options are checked, click the “OK” button to start printing.

Step 4

The menu with print settings can also be opened through the toolbar at the top of the window. Click on the "File" menu, select the "Print" group, then the "Print" command. Next, check the same options as listed in the previous option. Click the “OK” button to start working with the printer.

Step 5

The toolbar, in particular the File menu, can also be opened using the Alt and arrow keys. The first key activates the panel itself, and the arrows allow you to move the selection. To select a command, press the "Enter" key. The print menu is configured in the same way as in the two previous options.
