Instructions
Step 1
See which layouts are installed by default. If a Russian operating system is installed on your personal computer, then the Russian layout must also be installed. If for some reason it is not there, then this can be corrected using the "Language bar".
Step 2
Go to the Start button menu Select Control Panel. Find the keyboard icon there. You can shorten the path and just right-click on the blue square on the toolbar, which contains, for example, the letters EN. a context menu will appear.
Step 3
Select the "Options" item in it to add the Russian layout. A window will appear showing all the layouts installed on your personal computer. In this case, this is most likely only the English layout. To install the Russian layout, click the "Add" button. another window will appear.
Step 4
Select the Russian language from the list, click on it once with the left mouse button and click OK. Now the selected language will also be displayed in the list. To apply the changes, click the OK button.
Step 5
Set the keyboard shortcut with which you will switch layouts as needed. It may already be installed. Typically, this is the CTRL + Shift key combination. If it doesn't suit you, you can change it. Right-click on the language bar icon, in the context menu that appears, select "Options".
Step 6
In the window that opens, click the "Keyboard Options" button. The first item in the list that appears will indicate the key combination with which you can switch languages at the moment. Double-click the left mouse button on this item. A window will open where you can change the keyboard shortcut. True, you will have little choice. The Shift key will remain in any case. You can replace CRTL with alt="Image" or vice versa, depending on which keyboard shortcut is more convenient for you.
