When purchasing software, pay attention to the appearance of the package. It should have the full name of the program without errors, typos, and so on, the logo corresponding to the manufacturer, the version of the software, and so on. Also, the packaging must have a completely marketable appearance, there must be no scratches or cracks on it, the disc itself must have the corresponding protection elements. If, for example, holograms on it are in the form of stickers, this may mean that you have a fake in your hands. Also, be sure to check the protective elements of the license sticker on the packaging.
Step 2
If you purchase licensed software when purchasing a computer in the form of preinstalled software, make sure that there is a sticker on the case of the system unit. In laptops, these stickers are glued to the bottom of the case from the back side, in monoblocs - to the back wall. Also at home it will not be superfluous to check the Windows software. If you find unlicensed copies of the software, contact Microsoft, and then provide them with documents confirming the fact of payment for the software. If you confirm the purchase, the software will be replaced.
