Correct sound setting on the computer allows you to achieve clearer sound, it becomes possible to connect sound systems. The setting is made directly through the sound card driver control panel, which is responsible for outputting sound to the speakers.
Instructions
Step 1
The initial installation of the sound card driver is performed automatically during the installation of the operating system. Often this is not enough to get the most pure and high-quality sound, and therefore you should install the software from the adapter manufacturer. The card model is usually indicated in the list of accessories, which is issued when purchasing a computer. You can also open the PC case and see the manufacturer's markings. Usually they are indicated directly on the board itself.
Step 2
Go to the official website of the sound card manufacturer. To do this, in any search engine, enter the name of the manufacturer or model of your device. Download the drivers from the downloads section of the site.
Step 3
Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions of the installer that appear on the screen. After completing the procedure, restart your computer. Connect your speakers.
Step 4
Open the driver management utility, go to the configuration section. Depending on the manufacturer of the sound card and the driver version, the available settings will be displayed on the screen. You can adjust the sound volume, adjust the balance between the left and right speakers. If you are setting up a serious sound system, specify the connected amplifiers and the number of speakers, add the desired effects, if necessary, use the sound equalization option.
Step 5
If the sound does not work, check if the power is supplied to the sound system, if it is connected correctly. Try connecting other speakers or headphones, the problem may be with your audio system. Check if sounds are enabled in the OS itself. To do this, click on the speaker icon in the tray.
Step 6
After configuring all the parameters, click "Apply". Close the driver configuration window.
