With the installation of games into the memory card of the PlayStation Portable, however, this is not available for all such devices - many of them must have a special firmware in the configuration.
Necessary
- - Internet connection;
- - flashed PlayStation Portable.
Instructions
Step 1
Create ISO and Game directories on your PlayStation Portable memory card if you haven't already. Download the disc image of the game you want to install on your handheld game console. The file must be in.iso or.cso format (less common).
Step 2
Be sure to check for viruses in these files. Also check the files that are inside the image. Best of all, don't download games that have no reviews. Also, do not download them from dubious sites and do not send SMS for the ability to download them.
Step 3
Copy the image files to the PlayStation Portable memory card in the ISO folder and launch these files from the console. Then follow the instructions of the menu items. The game is launched from the Game directory on the removable disk of this console after its installation.
Step 4
Please note that in order to run games installed in this way, a firmware program other than the factory one must be installed. You can perform a flashing in various service centers of your city or on your own, if you have an additional original battery for your set-top box model.
Step 5
If the game does not start from the image file, insert a disc with any game into the PlayStation Portable drive to "trick" the console software. If you have a function to turn off the drive in the Recovery menu (in English versions it is called Use No UMD), deactivate its use, but remember that there are much more chances to start the game if you have a disc.
Step 6
If your box is under warranty, check the supplier's terms for flashing the device, as this may void your obligation to repair or replace the product in the event of a malfunction. Also, do not use a non-original battery for flashing, you may simply break the device.
