With the advent of such a function as the "express panel", traveling on the World Wide Web has become even more convenient. Still, now you don't need to go to bookmarks to find there a link to your favorite site, and even more so - to enter its name in the address bar every time. This feature first appeared in the Opera browser in 2007 and gradually became part of other programs designed for Internet surfing.
Instructions
Step 1
Mozilla Firefox. In order for the express panel to appear in this browser, you need to install the speed-dial plugin. Go to Tools -> Settings -> General -> Configure Add-ons -> Search Add-ons, enter "speed dial" and click "Search". For these purposes, there is a plugin, and we will install it. We go to the menu Tools-settings-basic-configure add-ons-search for add-ons, enter speed there (you can completely speed dial) and click search. Click on the plugin that appears, then "Add to Firefox". Wait for the download and installation to complete. Restart your browser. Now we need to make some adjustments. Go to Tools -> Settings -> General -> Configure add-ons -> Speed Dial -> Settings. Check the boxes next to Enable dial groups, Load in blank new windows, Load in blank new tabs and Bookmarks menu.
Step 2
Google Chrome. Go to "Options" and check the box next to "Open quick access page".
Step 3
Internet Explorer. To install the express panel on this browser, you need to install Yandex. Bar.
Step 4
Opera. In this browser, the express panel is installed by default, the difficulty is different: instead of it, a home page can open. To disable this option, go to Tools -> Settings and next to the "At startup" item, find the drop-down list. Set "Start from express panel" in it.
