Many web resources use pop-ups to post various forms and organize interactive interaction with users. Often, without such windows, it is impossible to use site management systems and other interfaces loaded directly into the browser. On the other hand, pop-up blockers are often enabled in the browser as a means of countering unwanted advertisements.

Instructions

Step 1

In the Opera browser, you can choose any of four pop-up control modes: open all, block everything, open everything in the background, block unsolicited ones. To access this list, just press the F12 function key, and in the browser menu you need to look for it in the "Quick Settings" section of the "Settings" section. Any of these control modes can be assigned to any site as an exception to the general rule. To do this, right-click the site page and select "Site settings" from the context menu. On the "General" tab, select the desired option from the "Pop-up" drop-down list.

Step 2

In Mozilla FireFox, open the Tools section of the menu and select Options. In the window that opens, go to the "Content" tab and uncheck the "Block pop-up windows" box. If you want to cancel the ban only for specific web resources, then this can be done using the list of sites-exclusions, which opens by clicking on the "Exceptions" button.

Step 3

In Internet Explorer, open the "Tools" section of the menu, and then the "Block pop-up windows" subsection. To completely disable blocking, the upper item of this subsection is intended, and the lower one ("Pop-up blocking options") opens a list of sites that are excluded from the general rule. There is another way to disable blocking - in the "Service" section, select the "Internet Options" item, go to the "Privacy" tab and uncheck the "Enable Pop-up Blocker" box.

Step 4

In Google Chrome, open the menu, select the "Options" item and click the "Advanced" link in the left margin of the "Settings" page that opens. In the "Privacy" section, click the "Content Settings" button and in the "Pop-ups" section, uncheck the box next to the item to prevent pop-ups. If you need to do this only for a specific site, then add it to the list of exclusions, which opens here by clicking the "Manage exclusions" button.

Step 5

In Apple Safari, to switch between disallowing and allowing pop-up windows, just press the key combination CTRL + SHIFT + K. There are also a couple of alternative ways: you can open the "Edit" section in the menu and select "Block pop-up windows", or you can in the same section Edit, click Settings, go to the Security tab, and uncheck the Block Pop-ups box in the Web Content section.
