Winamp is one of the most popular music listening programs. Among its features, it is worth noting the individual setting for each user. A wide range of equalizer options will allow you to achieve the desired sound.
Instructions
Step 1
Run the program. If the equalizer is not displayed by default, right-click on the program window and select "Graphic Equalizer", or use the Alt + G key combination. Press the On button to turn it on.
Step 2
The capabilities of the program allow you to use the automatic adjustment of the equalizer. To do this, press the Auto button. The frequency level will be regulated by the algorithms of the application itself.
Step 3
In addition, the program has pre-prepared equalizer settings. To do this, select "Presets" - "Load" - "Blank". A window will open with a list of presets named according to the music genre (Club, Rock, Dance, Reggae, Classical), playback location (Large Hall, Party, Flat) and device type (Laptop speakers). Select one of the presets and click Download.
Step 4
You can adjust the sound yourself. Equalizer in Winamp is ten-parameter: 60 Hz, 170 Hz, 310 Hz, 600 Hz, 1 kHz, 3 kHz, 6 kHz, 12 kHz, 14 kHz, 16 kHz. Adjustment of each of the frequencies is carried out using the slider. Values can be set from -12 dB to +12 dB. Move the corresponding sliders for each of the frequencies to achieve the desired sound. Adding low frequencies will add volume and soundness to the sound, while high frequencies will make the sound brighter and clearer. The main thing is to find a balance between low, medium and high frequencies.
Step 5
The resulting equalizer settings can be saved. To do this, select "Presets" - "Save" - "Blank". Enter the desired name and click the "Save" button. You can experiment with the sound further without fear for the safety of the created workpiece. You can always download it if you want.
