A plug-in is a computer program that complements the main program. The plugin allows you to expand its capabilities. Most often, the program is used in popular Photoshop, it allows you to simplify many tasks. So read carefully how you should run the plugin.
Instructions
Step 1
There are a lot of plugins, first you need to choose the right option for yourself so as not to overload the program with unused functions. You can buy a licensed version in a computer store or download an application from sites on the Internet.
Step 2
Stop at the program you are interested in and click "download". If the plugin is downloaded to the archive, then run the install.exe file or setup.exe and install the application. And if you downloaded the plugin in the form of an installation file, then install it like any standard program, then it will automatically integrate into the main program, for example, into Photoshop.
Step 3
If you downloaded the plug-in as a file in 8bf format, then you need to move it to the Plug-Ins folder, which is located by default in the directory: C: / Program Files / Adobe / Photoshop CS. Then, each time the program starts, it searches the Plug-Ins directory. She then registers the application with the main menu. You can easily find it while you work.
Step 4
If the main program does not see the running plug-in, then restart it to add the application to the program. But keep in mind that not all filters will be able to work with different formats. Many filters only support 8-bit RGB mode. If the plugin cannot work in some mode, then it will simply be unavailable in the main menu.
Step 5
Remember that when launching plugins, you need to perform the following operations: create a folder for plugins, download the program itself, and create a filter page. No matter how difficult it may seem to install an additional application at first glance, you should know that in the future the plug-in will simplify your work in any program several times.
