To recover files from a USB flash drive, use the Flash Recovery Free program, which is distributed completely free of charge. Allows you to recover deleted files, digital images, video, audio and other documents. Install the program on your computer, insert the flash drive into the appropriate slot. Run the utility and select from the list that opens the USB flash drive from which you want to recover files. In automatic mode, the program will analyze all the possibilities for recovering lost information. Wait for the complete scan to complete. Then select the files to restore and specify the path to save them. Check the files after the restore process is complete.
Step 2
The Kingston flash drive is equipped with an SK6211 microcontroller. If it does not work correctly, the USB drive will give out various errors. Damage to the microcontroller driver can be the result of a virus attack. For software repair of a drive that generates an error during the recording process or does not allow writing information to it at all, has changed the amount of available memory, has ceased to be detected by the operating system, use another free utility Repair_v2.9.1.1. Find the link with the search engine and download the program. Remove all working flash drives from the connectors and insert the damaged one. Run the program. Wait for the end of the formatting process.
Step 3
In cases where USB flash works, but an important file stored on it, for example, *.doc or *.xls, is damaged, hardware data recovery will be required. At the same time, the flash drive is disassembled, the memory chips are soldered off, its data is read into dumps using the software and hardware complex, and errors are corrected by ECC correction. Then the received dumps are decrypted, the correct image file is created, the container is extracted from it and mounted in a special program TrueCrypt. Therefore, if the damaged data is important for the user, it is not recommended to restore it by software yourself.
