The right awakening sets the right tone for the day. If you do not have the opportunity to replace the annoying alarm ringtones on your cell phone, use one of the computer utilities or standard Windows tools to wake up to your favorite melody that contributes to a great mood.
Instructions
Step 1
Configure your computer so that it automatically logs into the Desktop when it boots without prompting for a password. If the standard start-up sound is not able to wake you up, replace it with a longer melody and adjust the volume of the speakers. To configure the computer to turn on at a specific time, select the Resume by Alarm item in the Bios power settings, check the On or Enabled checkbox, set the date and time for the computer to turn on.
Step 2
Find the "Scheduled Tasks" folder by clicking on the "Start" button and selecting "All Programs", "Accessories" and "System Tools" or "Control Panel" and "Scheduled Tasks". By clicking the right mouse button, select the item "Create" and the sub-item "Scheduled task". Name the shortcut "Hibernate". Double click on the shortcut.
Step 3
Enter the command rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, setsuspendstate in the Run field and check the presence of the checkbox, without which the task will not be executed. In the "Schedule" tab, set the frequency and time for switching to sleep mode. Uncheck the box next to "Wake up the computer to start the task." Enter the user password. Create the "Alarm" task by specifying the required audio file in the "Run" field. Configure the time and frequency of its launch. Check the box next to "Wake up the computer to start the task."
Step 4
Install Active Alarm Clock, Music Alarm Clock, Clock on your computer! or Alarm Clock Pro. For Windows Vista, use the Alarm Clock program, which will launch from the sidebar.
