There are times when a photo that could decorate your photo album or blog is spoiled by the inscription on it. Of course, you can look for another photo. Or you can just delete the inscription.
Necessary
- Graphic editor "Photoshop"
- The photo from which you want to remove the caption
Instructions
Step 1
Open the photo in “Photoshop”. This can be done via the “File” menu, “Open” item. You can use the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + O”.
Step 2
Select the “Clone Stamp Tool” from the “Tools” palette. This palette is located on the left side of the program window by default. You can use the "S" hotkey.
Step 3
Specify the cloning source. Place the cursor on the area of the photo, free from the caption, but located next to it and with the “Alt” button pressed on the keyboard, left-click. In this case, the cursor will change its appearance to a circle with a cross.
Step 4
Move the cursor over the part of the decal that is closest to the previously specified cloning source by releasing the Alt key. Left click. Part of the inscription is painted over. Try to paint over the rest of the lettering by holding down the left mouse button. The cross that appears next to the cursor indicates where the pixels are copied from in the photo, which you use to cover the caption.
If the result looks unnatural, undo the last action through the "History" palette. This palette is in the middle right part of the program window. Move the cursor over the action above the last one and right-click.
Select a new clone source and paint over the rest of the decal.
Step 5
Save the photo. Use the “Save” or “Save As” command on the “File” menu.
