Step 1
You can mount a disc in various programs such as Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%, Nero. Shareware is a version of DT - Daemon Tools Lite. It is installed in the same way as other software.
Step 2
After installing Daemon Tools Lite, restart your computer. After starting Windows in the tray, next to the clock, on the taskbar, you will see an icon in the form of a disk with a lightning bolt, usually red, green or blue, depending on the version of the program.
Step 3
Right click on the icon and select Virtual CD / DVD-ROM. The virtual drive will also appear in My Computer. The computer interprets this drive as a physical drive, and the file images as real CDs. In the context menu, when choosing a virtual CD / DVD-ROM, select "Drive" and then "Mount Image".
Step 4
In the window that appears, you need to specify the path to the image file using Windows Explorer. After selecting the image file, click the "Open" button. This completes the installation of the virtual disk (image). Now you can go to "My Computer" and start the disk, or, after a few seconds, it will start by itself, if it has an autorun program.
