Very often people involved in processing various data have the need to create a whole database. These can be databases of company customers, goods or services, student data, etc. The database allows you to quickly find and process the information you need, which greatly speeds up and simplifies the entire process of working with various data.

Necessary

  • - computer;
  • - the Internet;
  • - Microsoft Office Access program.

Instructions

Step 1

To create a database, you can use a special program, for example, Microsoft Office Access. This utility is bundled with Microsoft office programs. Therefore, the first thing to do is to install this program on your computer. Install from disk or download Microsoft Office Access from the Internet. It can be downloaded from the official website of the office.microsoft.com company.

Step 2

Try to install all such utilities on the system local drive of your computer. Run the program. A Microsoft Access window will open in front of you. Here the program will offer you several ready-made templates for various databases. If none of the templates suits you, then select the "New Database" option.

Step 3

In the document that opens, you will see a blank table that is already ready to be filled in. In it, you need to add fields where various data will be entered. To do this, select the "Table Mode" column on the taskbar. A new toolbar will open, where there are two options: "New field" allows you to add standard data (for example, first name, last name); the "Add fields" option allows you to insert a blank field.

Step 4

If one table is not enough, then you can create another in the same database. On the toolbar, select the Create option. On the panel that opens, click on the "Table" option. Next, the table will be automatically created. You can also add fields in it.

Step 5

Thus, various databases are created with exactly the information with which you work directly. Ready-made databases can be placed on the Internet, allow access to other users, import information and much more. Do not forget to save the spreadsheet regularly, as your computer has various crashes or system errors.
