Step 1

Step 3
Disconnect the computer from the power supply. Unscrew the screws on the side cover of the system unit and remove it. Find a free PCI slot on your motherboard. PCI slots are usually located in the lower left corner of the motherboard. There is a PCI inscription next to them. Insert your USB controller into the PCI slot, then screw it to the computer case. Do not close the lid of the system unit yet.

Connect your computer to an electrical outlet and turn it on. Wait for the operating system to load. A dialog box will appear in which the system will inform you about the new device and install drivers for it. After installing the drivers, a window will appear notifying that the device is ready for use. Insert a USB flash drive or other device into the USB port to test its functionality. If everything works, you can turn off the computer and put the cover of the system unit back.
