The graphics editor Adobe Photoshop has the ability to edit not only graphic images, but also text. Using the Type Tool and its property bar, you can change the size and type of the font, as well as vary the appearance of the inscription.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the document and mark the Type Tool ("Text") - the tool in the form of a T on the toolbar. On the property bar, in the Set the font size field, expand the list by clicking on the arrow and select the appropriate size

You can change this parameter in different ways. Check the Move Tool and on the property bar check the Auto Select Layer and Show Transform Controls checkboxes.
Step 3
A rectangular selection with control nodes will appear around the text. Move the cursor over one of the nodes, hold down the left mouse button and, without releasing it, stretch the selection
Step 4
The font will grow in the direction of mouse movement. If you want the letters to resize evenly, hold down Ctrl on the keyboard. Press Enter to commit the change.
Step 5
You can use keyboard shortcuts to change font sizes. To make the font larger, press Ctrl + Shift +> to make the font smaller, Ctrl + Shift +
Step 6
To fine-tune the font parameters, select the Type Tool and select the text with the mouse. On the property bar, open the font settings palette and set the desired size in the Set the font size field

On the same panel, in the Kerning and Tracking fields, you can select the distance between the characters. To do this, click on the arrow to expand the list and mark the appropriate value. To change the vertical and horizontal scale of the font, enter the desired size in the Vertically Scale and Horizontally Scale boxes

If, when trying to change the font size, the system displays a message: “A value in the range from 0, 00 px to XX px is required. Closest value substituted”, check the document resolution settings. They may be too high or too low. The default resolution is 72 px / dm.
