Step 1
Download Driver Pack Solution Lite. Open the developer's site located at https://drp.su/en/download.htm. Click on the Download link and wait for the program to finish downloading. This utility is completely free and performs a full automatic system check. All devices are checked, both with the installed old driver and components without software.
Step 2
Launch Driver Pack Solution Lite. Double click on the downloaded file and allow it to run. Please note that you will need administrator rights on the system. When the program window opens, a system scan will begin, which takes up to 10-15 minutes, depending on the power of the computer. After verification, you will see an "Install" link at the bottom of the window. Click and the program will automatically download and install the correct drivers for your computer. This method is suitable for those who have an Internet connection.
Step 3
In the case when there is no access to the network, you have to use a more complex method. For example, download the full version of Driver Pack Solution from the above site on another computer and burn it to a DVD. Then just run that disc on your computer. The steps for installing the full version are the same as with the Lite edition of the program.
Step 4
In difficult cases, when you cannot find a suitable driver in standard databases, try to search manually. Open Device Manager. To do this, right-click on the "My Computer" icon and select "Properties". In Windows 7 or Vista, just click on the Device Manager link in the left column, and in Windows XP, first open the Hardware tab and click the appropriate button.
Step 5
Determine the device ID for which you are looking for a driver. To do this, on the right side of Device Manager, find the line marked with a yellow question mark. Click on this label with the right mouse button and select the "Properties" menu. Switch to the "Information" tab and select the "Equipment ID code" option in the drop-down list. Below you will see several inscriptions like PCIVEN_1002 & DEV_68B8 & SUBSYS_E144174B & REV_00, where VEN_1002 & DEV_68B8 is the identifier.
Step 6
Find the right driver. Open your browser and any search engine. Enter the device ID and the words "Download Driver" in the search bar.
