What self-respecting amateur video editor can do without captions? Moreover, the option to overlay adding titles, in contrast to more complex actions, is in any editor for video processing. This option is also available for Movie Maker users.

Instructions
Step 1
To add titles to a video, open it in Movie Maker by dragging and dropping the video file from the explorer window into the video editor window. Similarly, using the mouse to drag the video onto the timeline. However, you can do this using the "Add to Timeline" command from the "Clip" menu.
Step 2
Call the title settings window using the Titles and Titles command from the Tools menu. After the window with the settings opens, select the position of the titles in the video from several possible options: at the beginning of the film, at the end of the film, before the selected fragment or after the selected fragment by clicking on the corresponding caption.
Step 3
Movie Maker lets you add a movie title with a subtitle. To use this feature, select one of the add title options. A text box with two fields will open. Enter the body of the title in the top box and the rest of the text in the bottom. Looking at the player screen, you will notice that the text from the top field is presented as a text box that is larger than the text from the bottom field.
Step 4
If you are not satisfied with the animation or the font used for the title of the video, change it using the "Change Title Animation" and "Change Font and Text Color" options. To do this, click on the corresponding caption under the text entry field. After clicking on the caption "Change title animation", a window with a list of available animation types will open. Below the main list is a list of animation presets for titles, consisting of two lines. Clicking on one of them, you will see a preview of this type of animation in the player window. Clicking on the inscription "Change font and text color" will open a window in which you can select a font from the drop-down list, adjust its color, transparency, style and alignment.
When you're done setting the title, click on the "Done, add title to movie" text box.
Step 5
Add end credits to your video as needed. The window of their settings can be called by the same “Titles and Titles” command from the “Service” menu. Select the option "Add titles at the end of the movie" and enter the text in the table that opens. The animation and font of the ending credits is configured in exactly the same way as the animation of the title. After you finish editing titles, click on the caption "Done".
Step 6
Save the video with added titles by clicking on the words "Save to computer".
