An ordinary car radio, even the most inexpensive, with normal sound and not from well-known manufacturers, is capable of "shaking" your home speaker system when properly connected at home. In terms of purity and sound quality, it can overtake most modern music centers.
Necessary
- - computer power supply;
- - car radio;
- - speaker.
Instructions
Step 1
Use a regular power supply to connect the car radio to your computer. To do this, cut off the standard DIN connector, which is designed to connect the radio to the car, strip the wires to connect them to the "home" contacts. Prepare the wires for connecting the speaker system and the wires for powering the car radio.
Step 2
Connect the radio tape recorder to the power supply, for this you need a 300-350 watt unit, which has a +12 V line current of no less than 12 amperes. The maximum current on the + 5V line, as well as on other lines, does not matter for connecting the radio to a PC. The most convenient way to connect the car radio to a PC is the connector that is used to connect hard drives.
Step 3
Cut it off and solder it to the contacts of the radio, or design an adapter so that you can use the power supply in the computer in the future. To start the unit without the motherboard, use the large connector that is used to connect to it.
Step 4
Close the ground with the green contact - then the power supply will start and supply voltage to all wires. If the contact is open, a shutdown will occur. Use a regular pin to turn on the block. Attach it to the holes. If the power supply has a switch, do not remove the pin. In this case, you can use this switch to turn on / off the power. Solder all required columns.
Step 5
Build speakers from car speakers, for this buy any speakers, not very heavy. Next, find or make a box of wood, with thick walls, cut a hole under the speaker, paint it with varnish. Or use a hard cardboard box. Insert the speaker into the cardboard and connect the car radio to its hole.
