Satellite television has long ceased to be a novelty in the field of information technology. With its help, you get the opportunity to watch not only many new channels, but also significantly improve the quality of the transmission of national TV channels.
Necessary
- - television;
- - receiver;
- - satellite antenna;
- - multifeed;
- - converter;
- - converter switch;
- - connectors for the cable;
- - microwave cable.;
Instructions
Step 1
Place the multifeed with the converter designed for the Sirius satellite on the satellite dish, then look at the antenna from the receiving side (where the converter is installed). Place the second converter on the antenna five centimeters to the right of the cover of the first and one centimeter higher.
Step 2
Do not clamp the multifeed holder, as it will need to be adjusted according to the signal strength to add a satellite. Then choose the place to install the switch, cut the cable that goes from the HotBird converter to the receiver so that you connect one more end of the cable from the receiver to the DiSEqC input, and the other end to the DiSEqC output. Before doing this, turn off the receiver from the mains.
Step 3
Make cable connections with F-connectors. Then take a piece of cable 1-2 meters long, yf put the connectors on it, connect one end to the multifeed converter with which you want to connect the Sirius satellite, connect the other to the DiSEqC input.
Step 4
Turn on the receiver, go to Menu, select Setup and click Single Search, then select HotBird. Go to the LNB settings menu, select the type - "Universal", set ¼ in the DiSEqC function. Press the Menu button on the remote control.
Step 5
In the "Satellite" item, select the name Sirius 2/3 5E, also go to the LNB settings and set the universal type. In the DiSEqC item, turn on 2/4. Then press Menu, in the "Number" line select a transponder with a stronger signal, for example, 12111H27500. Look at the quality scale of the receiver, if a level above zero appears on it, then you managed to connect to the satellite.
Step 6
Use the multifeed to move the converter in different directions to get the best signal level on the receiver's quality scale. At the end, turn it clockwise. Once the signal is at its maximum, secure the multifeed carefully, then seal all connector connections. Then scan the satellite already in the receiver, for xth use the "Autoscan" option. Then exit the menu.
