Opening and copying a secure disk does not necessarily imply piracy or hacking. Disks are fragile enough. It is often necessary to be sure that the information you need will be safely stored. Specialized applications can help solve this problem.

Instructions
Step 1
Download and install a specialized application Alcohol 120% on your computer, which allows you to perform several operations at once:
- create an image of the desired disk;
- transfer the image to another disk;
- emulate a disk.
Run the installed application and open the Create Disk Image menu in the left pane of the main program window.
Step 2
Specify the type of data saved on the selected disk in the section of the same name in the dialog box of the Imaging Wizard that opens, or use the Data Type Analyzer option if it is impossible to determine exactly. To do this, select the required drive and click the "Analysis" button. Wait for the scan to complete and select the required data type from the list of the new dialog box.
Step 3
Pay attention to the possibility of advanced settings for the created disk image, provided by the "Reading Options" tab, and press the "Start" button after saving the necessary parameters. Wait for the image creation process to complete and find it in the Alcohol 120% application directory. Connect the created image as a virtual disk and make sure it works.
Step 4
An alternative method of opening and copying a protected disk can be to use another similar application - UltraISO. After the required disk is placed in the drive, open the "My Computer" item in the main system menu "Start" and open the volume context menu by clicking the right mouse button. Specify the "Create ISO Image" command and specify the location for saving the data.
Step 5
Use the specialized application Daemon Tools to open the created image. To do this, go back to the "My Computer" menu and find the desired disk image. Call the context menu of the selected volume by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Open" command. Transfer the required files to your hard drive.
