Sooner or later, most users have to take a screwdriver in their hand and penetrate the insides of their system unit. Most often, this is required by an upgrade of the system, less often - its repair, very rarely (although it should have happened more often) - the removal of perennial dust deposits.

Instructions

Step 1

Turn off your computer.

Step 2

Disconnect the power cable and all other wires and peripheral cables.

Step 3

Carefully inspect the case of the system unit and find the attachment points for its casing (in most cases they are located at the back, but on some cases, you must first remove the front panel).

Step 4

Using a screwdriver (some cases allow you to do without it), unscrew the screws and remove them from the slots.

Step 5

Depending on the manufacturer and model of your case, the casing can be removed entirely (both "walls" with a "roof", typical for cheaper cases) or each of the walls can be detached separately (be careful, sometimes an additional cooler is attached to one of the "walls"; disconnect its power cable before removing the "wall").

Step 6

You now have full access to the "inner world" of your computer.

Step 7

The computer is assembled by performing the same steps in reverse order.
