• There can be many reasons for disassembling notebooks. For example, cleaning the cooling system from dust collected in it in order to reduce heating during operation. The design of some laptops does not imply cleaning by removing only the case cover and you have to disassemble the entire device. This is the case with Toshiba notebooks.
It is necessary
Toshiba laptop, small Phillips screwdriver
Instructions
Step 1
Turn the laptop over with the back side of the case up and unscrew all the bolts so that they do not interfere with you when removing the top (for Toshiba laptops they are all signed: on the covers - "4", on the case - "8").
Step 2
Then unscrew the accessible covers - openings for random access memory (RAM) and hard drive (hard disk). Make sure you unscrew and remove all bolts, then turn the laptop over and remove the top cover. To do this, first unscrew the monitor bolts (behind), grab the plastic holder with a knife and everything will bounce off by itself. Disconnect the laptop cable and remove the monitor.
Step 3
Next, grab the keyboard and carefully remove it from the case (it comes out with a creak, but this process does not require significant application of effort). Disconnect the wire and set it aside. For the first time, this may seem difficult - due to the mountings, the keyboard does not immediately lend itself, but in fact, everything is not so difficult. Unscrew the remaining screws and remove the top of the laptop. Do everything carefully. Pull out the speaker wire. Then unscrew the bolts again and take out the "heart" of the laptop, and under it you will see a cooler. Unscrew the cooler and remove the wire from the board.
Step 4
After completing the above process, you can safely pull out the cooler of your Toshiba laptop for further preventive maintenance. There is nothing difficult in disassembling a laptop. Most importantly, remember the wires that you disconnected, do not cut or tear them, as they are very vulnerable and thin.
