It is a well-known fact: there is never a lot of RAM in a PDA. It so happens that if, in addition to two already running applications, you run a third one, this can lead to a crash. To prevent such an annoying occurrence, you need to free up some memory.
Instructions
Step 1
Do not install resource-intensive applications such as “heavyweight games” or navigation programs on your Pocket PC, unless there is an urgent need for it. Also, if not necessary, do not keep multiple applications open. Try not to use various decorating elements of the system and graphic shells. These are additionally open processes that you can do without.
Step 2
Check the startup of your PDA. Remove all unnecessary applications from it. To do this, using the "Explorer" application, open the Windows folder, in it "Startup" and remove the shortcuts of all unnecessary applications. This will clear the PDA's memory.
Step 3
Reboot your PDA. This is necessary in order to stop all running processes. After rebooting, the memory of the Pocket PC will be occupied exclusively by the processes of the operating system. Apply the SKTools utility to free up memory on your PDA. It will allow you to disable running programs with the possibility of their subsequent autorun.
Step 4
Apply MemMaid or TaskMgr applications. Any other process manager will work as well. It is needed in order to disable unused system processes. If you are going to disable processes manually, in no case touch those responsible for the functioning of the PDA operating system. Otherwise, you will not only not free up memory, but also provoke serious malfunctions in the device, the consequences of which can be serious.
Step 5
Disable applications that are not related to the functioning of the operating system to free up memory on the PDA. By and large, they do not affect the performance of the system, so they can be disabled without any consequences.
Step 6
To track down unnecessary applications, see which processes are launched immediately after the system boots, taking into account the fact that you have already cleared the autoload. You can close the processes that start later.
