The choice of speakers for a computer is a crucial step, especially if the computer is regularly used to listen to music and watch movies, and modern games often amaze with their sound design.

Step 1
Decide how many columns you need. For listening to music, two good speakers will be enough; for watching movies, it is better to use surround sound systems with five or more speakers.

Decide if you need a subwoofer. This is a speaker that can reproduce only low frequencies. The subwoofer complements well the sound picture, for example, of films, but for music it is practically useless due to the fact that most music files are in stereo format. However, any music player can always be configured to redirect low frequencies to the subwoofer.

The material from which the speakers are made has a direct impact on the sound quality. It is better if it is wood, plastic is suitable only for the cheapest or most compact options.
Step 4
The amplifier in computer audio systems is usually built into a speaker or subwoofer. This is often a good option, however, if you want to achieve high quality sound, it is better to combine the passive audio system with any amplifier or receiver that is suitable in terms of power and impedance.
Step 5
Pay due attention to the correct placement of the speakers (and especially the subwoofer) around the room so that the surround sound is truly spacious.
