When installing an operating system, especially if you have to do it quite often, it is useful to have a disk with distributions of the necessary programs at hand. Significantly saves time if the installation of programs starts automatically when you activate the disk on your computer. Various WPI assemblies provide this capability.
Necessary
WPI program
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install the Windows Post-Installation Wizard to your computer. This application will help the user to create his own disk with automatic installation of programs. Find the "Options" button in the main application window and click it. The utility for configuring the unattended installer list starts. If the standard set of WPI programs does not suit you, add the required applications or delete using the Add and Delete buttons.
Step 2
Provide a description of the added programs in case another user will use your disk. Configure application launch options by default or with an inactive selection. If some of the selected programs require additional applications to be installed, adjust the dependencies. Registry entries can be edited in the same settings window at the bottom.
Step 3
Use the Save button to make changes to the assembly. All changes will be automatically made to the config.js file from the wpiscripts folder. This file can also be edited using a regular notepad. The WPI assembly you created can now be written to disk and then used whenever there is a need for a complex installation of programs. You can install one application from the list, if you take care of the allocation of time to select a user.
Step 4
As soon as you need to install a certain list of software in automatic mode, insert the recorded disc into the hard drive of your computer and wait for it to start automatically. Next, select "Install WPI" and mark all programs that need to be installed on a personal computer.
