Instructions
Step 1
Open an image in a program whose edges you want to blur. Do not forget to activate the working layer - click on it in the layers panel to remove the lock icon.
Step 2
Use the Rectangular Marquee Tool (rectangular area) to select the image with a frame. You can choose any type of frame, depending on your desire.
Step 3
From the Select menu, click the Inverse command. This step is necessary in the case when you do not transfer your image to a new layer, but work on one.
Step 4
In the same menu, select the Modify - feathering command. In the pop-up window, set the value of the feathering radius in pixels.
Step 5
Click Delete. Here's what you should get - an image with blurred edges. Now deselect the selection by pressing Ctrl + D.
