There may be several reasons why the computer does not recognize the camera. This can be the camera itself, and the computer, or rather its port, and as a result, the motherboard. If the device is connected and detected as a USB device, but the images cannot be viewed, then the problem is in the drivers. Connect any device to USB, go to Device Manager, a storage device should have been added under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to one of the items, then the drivers are not installed correctly and the camera is not displayed on the computer. Therefore, it is better to take the disk that comes with the device and reinstall the drivers. If the camera is connected, the drivers are installed, and the computer does not see the device, check if this USB port is working at all. Take any other device that you can connect to it and check it out. For example, a USB flash drive, an external hard drive. If the port is working, then you need to check the cable. Take the cable from another device - they are universal and are mini-USB to USB adapters and give it a try. If it does not work, then the reason lies in the camera itself. Most often, the USB controller is damaged - this can occur due to incorrect connections and disconnections, or for other reasons. In any case, you can temporarily solve this problem temporarily by using a card reader to copy photos to your computer. Try to connect the cable to a different port (on the back of the system unit).
