Spyware is spyware running on your computer. It can be installed on a computer either with the consent of the user, for example, by the employer, or secretly. Such programs are capable of collecting and transmitting a wide variety of confidential information.

Step 1
How is spyware different from Trojans? The fact that its installation usually requires the consent of the computer user or the management of the company in which these computers are installed. In the latter case, an ordinary employee may not be aware that all his work is under constant control.
Step 2
Often spyware gets on the computer when installing any programs. By installing them, the user rarely reads all the clauses of the license agreement, therefore, by clicking "OK", he can simultaneously agree to the installation of such spyware. It is through spyware that commercial companies can send you advertisements that match your interests.
Step 3
Even if you do not notice anything suspicious about your computer, you can still search for spyware and, if found, remove it. To do this, use free programs that can be found on the net.
Step 4
Download and install the free version of Ad-Aware: https://www.lavasoft.com/ Run the installer, accept the agreement. After the installation is complete, the program will start updating (about 80 MB will be downloaded), wait for it. Reboot your computer. Run the program, press the green button labeled Scan System. A system check will start, and when it is finished, your computer will be cleaned of spyware. Click Done and close the program. Remember to update it periodically.
Step 5
To remove spyware, you can use the Spybot program, you can download it here: https://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html Install and run the program, click the "Start scan" button. The program will prompt you to delete temporary Internet files to speed up the scan. Accept this offer or refuse. At the end of the scan, check the boxes everything that the program has found, and click the "Fix marked problems" button.
Step 6
You can increase the security of your computer by selecting the "Immunization" item in the program options. The proposal to protect your system by immunization may have appeared earlier, during the start of the system. If you agree, your browser will be aware of potential threats and prevent spyware from entering your computer.
