In the event that your laptop has a special Fn key, adjust the brightness of the monitor using its combination with the left and right arrow keys, usually in the first case, the brightness of the monitor backlight becomes less, in the second - more. Also pay attention to the brightness of the laptop monitor under different lighting conditions. If the room is too dark, do not set the backlight to the maximum position, strong contrast can be more harmful to your eyesight than a balanced setting. Also, do not set the backlight to minimum even when using the battery.

If the arrow buttons are not assigned a function to change the brightness of the monitor, look in your keyboard for the keys that show the icons for changing this setting. If not, the monitor backlight can be adjusted with various built-in utilities. Look for them among the drivers installed on your computer.

If you need to adjust the brightness of the laptop monitor image, adjust it in the video card settings. To do this, open the desktop properties and in the advanced options select the video adapter settings tab. Run the driver by clicking on the button with the corresponding icon, and find in the settings for the brightness, contrast and saturation of the image.
