The display (matrix) of a laptop is one of its most fragile components. Even if you handle your laptop with great care, there is always the possibility of harming the display. One careless movement - and it can become unusable. Fortunately, the breakdown of the matrix does not mean that you will have to purchase a new laptop, since the display of the damaged laptop can be replaced with a new one.

Step 1
The first step is to buy a new laptop matrix. It should fit the form factor of your laptop model. You can purchase a new laptop display in the computer showroom. Even if you cannot find laptop matrices in the shop windows, contact the seller directly. They are often simply stored in warehouses. If a suitable matrix is not available, it can always be ordered.
Step 2
Power off the laptop and be sure to remove the battery before starting the installation. Now place the laptop with the front facing you. Pay attention to the laptop monitor. There are rubber plugs in each of its corners. These plugs are glued. We need to extract them. To do this, use either a needle or a thin screwdriver. Carefully slide the needle or screwdriver under the plug. In this way, you will free her.
Step 3
There is a bolt under each plug. Unscrew them. In addition to the bolts, the frame is also fastened with latches. Carefully detach these latches. The frame can now be detached from the monitor. The latches should detach easily. No extra effort needed.
Step 4
Now pay attention to the mountings under the die. There are bolts on them, unscrew them and then remove the matrix from the laptop cover. Now disconnect all cables connecting the matrix and laptop. Make sure that there are no unconnected loops left.
Step 5
Then take a new matrix and install it in place of the old one, and then connect all the cables back. Make sure they are all connected. Otherwise, the display will not work and you will have to recheck everything again.
Step 6
Tighten all bolts and reattach all plugs. Now connect the battery and turn on the laptop. Check how the display works. There should be no distortion or stripes.
