Instructions
Step 1
When you first experience working with Adobe Photoshop, it is best either to use the help of friends who have previously worked with this program, or to go to specialized courses, since the information will be absorbed best with just such training. However, learning to work with Photoshop on your own is pretty quick and easy too.
Step 2
The first thing to learn when working with Photoshop is the toolbars available. They are located to the left of the image, and are icons depicting various tools (brush, selection, fill, mask, change history, etc.). Any other actions in Photoshop will be based on the work with this panel. It is advisable to master each of these tools, as well as the ability to control them not only with the mouse, but also with key combinations.
Step 3
The second important lesson for newcomers to Photoshop is working with layers. Any image (not just a photograph) is made up of certain layers. Photoshop allows you to work with each separate layer of the image, and with all available at once. A specialized layer panel - Layers - is responsible for working with layers. Due to the fact that you can open several layers of an image at once, in Photoshop you can, for example, change the structure and color of a separate area of the image without affecting all others (especially necessary for retouching in portrait photographs).
Step 4
In addition to the usual post-processing and photo retouching in Adobe Photoshop, you can create pictures and graphics using the brush tool. There are quite a few creative types of brushes available for download on the Internet in a wide variety of sizes.
Step 5
The last but often the most interesting lesson to take in Adobe Photoshop is working with filters. Interesting effects can be applied both to the entire image as a whole, or to its part, creating an interesting drawing from a banal photo. Filters and effects for Photoshop are freely available on the Internet, they can be installed in the program as an add-on. Filters allow you to create specific changes in the image in 1-2 steps, without wasting time.
Step 6
Having mastered these basic toolbars and functions, the user can easily work with the graphic editor further, not only processing images, but also creating new ones using various effects and a set of brushes. In addition, each Photoshop user can create filters on their own and upload them to users on the Internet.
