Of course, Windows operating systems have a built-in Windows Media Player that has many basic functions. But for a more comfortable viewing, it is better to install a separate multifunctional player, with which you can configure many parameters according to your requirements.

Step 1
There are many different players on the Internet that you can download. Before downloading, you need to determine what exactly you need from it besides the basic video viewing function. If you need fine tuning DVD, image scaling function and other options, then you need to download a multifunctional player. If you do not want to "dig" into the settings and all you need to do is watch the video and sometimes adjust the brightness, contrast and color gamut, then it is better to download the player simpler.
Step 2
A very good multifunctional player is KMPlayer. It plays all formats and allows you to fine-tune your viewing of DVD movies. Also, the player has a lot of functions that allow you to customize video playback as comfortable as possible for the user. Find the player on the Internet and download.
Step 3
Unzip the file if necessary. The player is installed quite easily. You only have one executable file. Double click on it with the left mouse button. In the first window, select the installation language. There are only two of them: English and Korean. Please note - this is just the installation language. It will be possible to select the language of the player's menu a little later. Then proceed further.
Step 4
Accept the license agreement. The next window will display a list of components that you can install. You don't need to change anything there, just continue on. Then click the Install button. The installation of the player will begin. Wait for it to complete and then close the installation window.
Step 5
Launch KMPlayer (the shortcut should be on your desktop). After the first launch, a window will appear in which you can select the language of the player's menu. There is also Russian among the available languages. After choosing the language, proceed further. You will see the player menu. It is now installed and ready to go.
Step 6
The second player, which has only the most essential basic functions, is called the GOM Player. The installation process is almost the same as installing KMPlayer.
