Windowed mode is used to launch an application in system window mode, which allows you to change the size of the occupied area on the screen. Switching between full-screen and windowed modes is carried out by pressing the keyboard buttons or using the desired options in the settings.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to launch the game in window mode, you need to change its parameters. Launch the game using a shortcut on the desktop or the Start menu. Wait until the startup screen appears.
Step 2
After the start of the program, click on the "Options" or "Settings" menu on the screen. After that go to the "Graphics Settings" or "Graphics" section. Select "Full Screen Mode" by moving the slider to the "None" position. Click on the "Save" or "Apply" button to apply the results. The game may restart immediately in windowed mode, or you may need to manually exit and then sign in again, depending on the version of the application you are using.
Step 3
You can also run the program in windowed mode by adjusting its settings. Right-click on the application shortcut and select "Properties" in the context menu that appears. In the new window go to the "Shortcut" tab. In the line "Window" you will see several options. Click on the drop-down list and select the "Normal Window Size" option. This will allow the program to be executed not in full-screen mode, but in windowed mode.
Step 4
It is also possible to expand the interface of any program to full screen or reduce them to the size of the window using the Windows interface elements in the upper right corner of any running application. Click on the middle button on the top panel in the right corner of the screen to switch from Full Screen to Minimize Window.
Step 5
Windowed mode allows you to quickly switch between applications running on the system. You can move programs around your desktop and organize your workspace as you see fit. You can switch between running applications using the keyboard shortcuts alt="Image" and Tab.
