Many fans of computer games prefer to play them in windowed mode. These include people who like to play at work when their boss is not around. At the same time, they start the game in windowed mode, and on occasion switch with the mouse to another window. It is convenient to play old games in windowed mode, because many of them do not have sufficient resolution for modern monitors.
Instructions
Step 1
The first way is the most primitive. After starting the game, press the Alt + Enter keys. Some of the toys react to this combination by switching to windowed mode. Unfortunately, this part is not large.
Step 2
More complicated way. Create a shortcut for the game on your desktop, if there isn't one. If there is a label, you will operate with it. Click on the shortcut with the right mouse button, select the "Properties" item in the drop-down menu ("Properties" - for the English version of the OS). Add "-window" to the game address line. For example:
It was "D: / Games / Data / Gothic.exe";
It became "D: / Games / Data / Gothic.exe -window".
Step 3
Click on the "Apply" button and exit. Now start the game with the edited shortcut. It is worth noting that some games continue to run with the "-window" label. Here you need to write another inscription, namely "full screen".
Step 4
The third way is built in. The fact is that many modern games provide windowed mode. You just need to activate the corresponding option in the game settings and that's it.
