Step 1
Download and install the CS add-on for playing online - version 29 or higher on your hard drive. You can find this add-on through any search engine. Scan downloads with antivirus software to keep your computer safe from malware. It is also worth noting that you must have a standard version of the Counter Strike game installed on your personal computer, that is, without any modifications and hacks.
Step 2
Download and install the CS server application on your hard drive. This is a special program that will create a virtual server on your computer. Working servers for Counter-Strike are available on the Internet. You can find it on the official website counterstrike.ru. An active high internet connection is required to download. Be sure to check all files with antivirus software.
Step 3
Open the installed CS server application in console mode. This mode of operation frees up system resources, and all of them will be used in the game. To start the server in console mode, create the hlds.bat file and place it in the main game directory. Fill in the file according to the instructions on the Internet. You can find the directory using the main shortcut. Click on it with the right mouse button, selecting "Properties". Next, click on the "Find Object" tab.

Modify the server.cfg file as instructed. You will need administrator rights to create a shared game and invite others to participate. Download and install add-ons for Counter-Strike as needed.
