You can create your server in any version of Minecraft. If you want to play with your friends, you will need Hamichi, and if you want people to visit your server, you need hosting or you can open ports so as not to pay for hosting.
It is necessary
- - work computer,
- - the Internet,
- - Minecraft server version from 1.0 to 1.8.
Instructions
Step 1
First, download the version of CraftBukkit that you would like to see on your server. Let's go to the Bakkit developer's website (https://dl.bukkit.org/downloads/craftbukkit/). Let's select the version of our Bakkit and download it. Then we create a folder on the desktop and install CraftBakkit into this folder.
Step 2
Launch CraftBakkit in this folder (You will have some files installed automatically.)
Step 3
Create a text document in which such a script will be written - (@ echo off
"% ProgramFiles (x86)% / Java / jre7 / bin / java.exe" -Xms1020M -Xmx1020M -jar -Dfile.encoding = UTF-8 craftbukkit-1.5.2-R1.0.jar nogui). In the value- (craftbukkit-1.5.2-R1.0.jar) write the name of your CraftBakkit (see the screenshot.) MANDATORY our text document must be "saved as" and with the name "start.bat". Then we run our file "start.bat" and see the console.
Step 4
Install Hamachi. Launch Hamachi and copy our IPv4 IP address. Then paste it into a document called "server.properties" into the "server-ip =" column (see screenshot) and run the "start.bat" file again. Now, if you create your network in Hamachi, you can play with your friends.
Step 5
To put a server on hosting, you need to choose the hosting itself. When choosing a hosting, it should include such functions as: FTP, protection against DoS and DDoS attacks.
