Step 2

In the window that appears, open the "Configuration Tools" tab. In it, go to the "SQL Server Configuration Manager" section. Then find the node "SQL Server Network Configuration". Expand it by double-clicking the left mouse button.

Step 3

Select "Protocols" to make a remote server. In it, enable the TCP / IP protocol. Restart the SQL Server services for the configured settings to take effect. Go to the "Start" button menu. Now you need to enable remote administration in the firewall of your system.

Step 4

Select Run. Enter the following on the command line: netsh.exe firewall set service type = REMOTEADMIN mode = Enable scope = ALL and press Enter. Go to the Start button menu again.

Step 5

Select "Control Panel". This time, you need to configure DCOM permission for remote access to WMI utilities. Double click on the "Administration" item. In the window that opens, go to the "Component Services" tab.
