The most common reason for silence in the speakers is the disabling of the sound card option built into the motherboard. This, it turns out, is due to the peculiarities of the modification of each motherboard. The way out of this situation is not difficult. You need to go to the BIOS interface of your motherboard. When you turn on and boot the computer, the system records in English appear on a black background. It looks like this: "Del to enter setup" or "Press F2 to enter setup". This means that to enter the BIOS interface, you must press the Delete or F2 key. Next, we should find the tab with the "Onboard Device Configuration" menu item. Here we find the name of our audio device and set the value "On" or "Auto". If one of these values has already been set, then this was not the reason. To exit and save from the BIOS interface, we need to press F10 or go to the "Exit" menu and click on the "Exit & Save Changes" menu item.

Next, the operating system is loaded. In the Start menu, go to Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager. We find the section Sound, video and game devices. If the audio device has a question mark, it means that no drivers have been installed on this device. This is fixed using the original disc that comes with the computer, otherwise it can be downloaded from the Internet. After installing the required driver, restart your computer (system). The sound should appear. If the sound still does not appear, then you need to contact the support service of the operating system installed on your computer.
