Step 1
Collect the torn buttons and spare parts for them, if they were also torn from their place. Remember the placement of all buttons or check a photo of the same laptop model. You can find such photos on the Internet, so there will be no particular difficulties.
Step 2
Install the button swing mechanism first. These are small plastic parts that allow the button to move up and down smoothly when pressed. The attachment of the swing depends on the type of keyboard (different manufacturers may implement it in different ways). Basically, the swing is attached to the base with a small mustache - there are usually three of them for small buttons.
Step 3
After installing the swing, carefully install the plastic surface of the button and lightly press in the direction of travel until it clicks. The button also has its own latches, with which it is attached to the swing. Examine the bottom surface of the button to find the attachment points.
Step 4
Check the operability of all keyboard buttons in a regular "Notepad" by typing all the letters in sequence, or using a special program. If the contacts of the letters are not damaged, the removal of the button (and subsequent installation back) should not affect its functionality, but no one can give a guarantee in this.
Step 5
If you cannot install the buttons yourself, please contact the service center. They will definitely help you there for a small fee. Some service centers also provide deeper repair of laptop keyboards - up to the restoration of damaged tracks. You can simply order a new laptop keyboard. The service center will give you a choice, and will also install all the buttons. In this case, you will have to pay a pretty decent amount of money.
