If you need to assemble a computer keyboard, there are certain points you need to know before you start assembling it. In general, assembling a computer keyboard is a fairly simple activity, which does not take much time to complete.

Step 1

In order to streamline your actions, we will consider the situation from the very beginning, namely, from disassembling the keyboard. First of all, before proceeding with the disassembly of the device, disconnect it from the system unit. Only then can you proceed to the next step.

Step 2

Flip the keyboard over and remove any visible screws. If the device does not separate after all screws have been removed, proceed as follows. On the back of the keyboard, you will see rubber bands that prevent the device from sliding across the table. It is likely that additional screws are hidden under them. Peel off these rubber bands, then unscrew the remaining screws. The keyboard will now separate unhindered. The assembly of the parts of the device takes place by reverse tightening the screws.

Step 3

If you need to remove keys from the keyboard, then parsing it in this case will be irrelevant. This is done as follows.

Step 4

Before you start removing the keys from the keyboard, take a piece of paper and redraw all the buttons on it in the order in which they are located on the device. If you don't particularly want to draw, in order to avoid confusion during the subsequent installation of the keys, lay them out when removing them in the order of their arrangement on the keyboard. However, be careful: a cat running by or an accidental movement of the hand can disrupt the correct sequence of buttons.

Step 5

To remove keys from the keyboard, you need to do the following. Grasp the release button on the left and right sides, then pull it up in a side-to-side motion. This should be done with each button, except for the space. When removing the space bar, the key grip must be from the top and bottom of the button. To reattach the buttons, simply slide them into place and then press them against the keyboard.
